• Supplemental State of Florida educational salary incentive pay up to  $130.00 per month
  • Annual clothing allowance when personnel are assigned to eligible plain clothes positions

  • Compensation for authorized overtime. Overtime is paid at one and one-half times regular hourly rate for court time and related proceedings.

Dependant upon experience,
education, training and
departmental needs, sworn officers may be eligible to compete for vacancies in the following specialty positions:
  • Criminal Investigations
  • K-9
  • School Resource Officer
  • Bicycle Patrol
  • Honor Guard
  • Field Training Officer
  • Training
   Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate which meets state standards.
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Good physical condition
  • Vision requirements; correctable to 20/20
  • Good moral character
  • No felony convictions
  • No misdemeanor convictions    involving moral character, perjury or false statements as outlined in Florida Statute.
